Wakili 101 is committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019. This policy explains how we handle your data.
When you register or use our platform, we collect your name, email, phone number, and professional details (e.g. LSK number, law firm name). Payment transactions are processed securely through PesaPal, and we do not store card details.
Your information is used to manage your account, process payments, verify credentials, send transactional emails (receipts, reminders, renewals), and improve the platform.
We do not sell your data. Advocate and law firm profiles are visible on our directory as part of the service. See The Directory below for exactly which details are listed.
If you register as an advocate or a law firm you are listed in the Wakili 101 directory, so that people can confirm you are a practising advocate and get in touch with you. This is what appears, and what does not:

Only people signed in to Wakili 101 can search the directory and see contact details. It is not open to the public internet.
Hiding your contact details. If you would rather your phone number, email address and admission or registration number were not shown, sign in and go to Profile in your dashboard, then turn off “Show my phone number, email address and admission number to signed-in users”. Your listing stays, so people can still find you by name, specialisation and county; only those details are withheld. You can change this as often as you like.
We use HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your data. No online transmission is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable precautions.
Under Kenyan law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us below.
